Asaka:

“Lazy” is the word Agwe describe Asaka. She is the mother of the earth, and she sure raised a lot of creature. However, I think she what she have done are out of her intent. The welfare she brings to the land and the peasants are more like a lose control of power rather than a hardworking enchantment. Another sign of her laziness is that she did not come to the summon ritual. From the reading thus far, her physical appearance will be chubby. She will be an easygoing person. Always lose control and would fall under the sway of others easily, which could explain why she cheated on Agwe: follow her lose will. There will also by laziness in her sound: soft, deep voice with moderate to slow speaking speed. She is a charming lady on stage, the charm came from her weary look seemingly came from an dosing experience. She will have a green lose gown with brown lining.

Agwe:

“Arrogant” is what Erzulie calls him. He considers himself as “the most powerful” god among the all. But he might have the power to be so proud of himself. He is attracted by Asaka’s dangerous personality and her swaying temptation. He likes controlling people but his lost control of Asaka has driven him crazy. He appears to be a lean young adult, who believe he has to power to accomplish everything, and takes pride for it. He is upright but is salty and blinded because of jealousy. His voice is young but pretend to talk like an old man. A great contrary should show on the actor. He wears a blue slim fit gown with white lining.

Erzulie:

Erzulie is the symbol of true love. She is both innocent and benevolence. She believes in mother’s love because she believed what Desiree’s mother’s words about saving her life. However, she is slightly inferior to Agwe. She is like Natalie Portman in the movie Black Swan. She is a beautiful adult. Age is ambiguous as her love could between both lovers or family members. She speaks softly and lightly. She is a little bit sad for the lost of peasants and other mysterious reasons. Perhaps the departing lovers, Agwe and Asaka. She has a white dress with veil over her shoulder and head.

Papa Ge:

“Monster” is what people describe him. This is based on his appearance and his sneaky style of action. However, I imagine him to be a mob or an evil capitalist. He is making deals with people, making people’s temporary dream comes true and takes their lives forever. He also takes his promise seriously. He reminds me of Penguin in DC’s Batman series. He speaks in a high pitch voice. He walks purposefully. When he tries to take one’s soul, he takes it slowing as he is having time for pleasure. He smiles with only one side of the lips moving, leaving a torted face. On my version of the show, he wears nice tuxedo.
