Individual Update

Yesterday we worked on coordinating the cues and the music. We finished learning the musics and started reciting lyrics. We first sang our duets without accompaniments and later the accompaniments were added. Duets needed more practice. As many extended chords were used, some duet parts were hard when the voices are apart in minor 2nd. Although it is easier to practice with accompaniments, the tempo in the accompaniments is different than the tempo we used in dry practice. I think the best way to recite the lyrics is to continue practicing together. The same method is also applicable to practice the coordination. Thus it is not enough to practice in class only. Nan and I should find time together to practice, too. As we are close to finish the props, we should also run a stage practice with all the props but without music, and a full run with music after the coordinations are done.
