Written Course Work Suggestions

The written coursework that I had two months ago was chaotic. It was more like a heap of thoughts rather than an organized essay. According to the rubric, couple improvements will make the essay better.
The format of the essay is the easiest one to revise. I did not have a title and the word count. Also, I should include proper citation for the book. This will help me to gain 10 more points.
The second easiest thing to fix is to add a conclusion to my essay. A conclusion is vital for an essay. After paragraphs of discussing the improvements of the performances, I need to have a conclusion to link the essay back to my thesis and make more connections between the literary analysis and my performances.
I did not have a conclusion in the essay is because of the word limit. Thus the word count is also a problem for my essay. I talk about the details in my performance a lot. However, I mention about the music choice too much. There are some parts that are unnecessary as well. For the performances, I should simplify my language and yet convey the same message. I know that the literary analysis should not be the largest portion of the essay, but the performance analysis is completely outcompeted the literary analysis in my paper. Thus I should also focus on the balance of the paper.
At this point it is hard for me to simplify my literary analysis. This is because I did not have proper discussion of the texts. I did include some quotations. However, some of the quotes are feeble. In addition, the analysis that follows is not strong enough, either. On the other hand, I did not establish enough links between the analysis and the thesis. I need to re-read the script and find more convincible quotes for the literary analysis. After that, I could proceed refining the language.
On the other hand, the thesis in the introduction is not clear. This is also one of the reasons why the literary analysis seems chaotic.

Therefore, I would re-read the book first and try to refine my thesis. After that, I will try to add more details and carefully re-construct the literary analysis and add a conclusion. Finally, I will refine my language throughout my essay.

Romeo and Juliet's First Expression

The first time that Shakespeare introduces Romeo is by the conversation between Benvolio and Romeo. He is sad about the refusal from the Rosaline. The emotion is so strong that he frustrates himself and unwilling to interact with his friends and parents. Simply say, Romeo is too in love that his love is hurting himself: “ Griefs of my own lie heavy in my breast.” (Romeo and Juliet 21) Later on scene 4, he has worries that something bad will happen during the party and thus unwilling to go. The dialogues Romeo and Mercutio have implied that his anxiety comes from Romeo’s dream. However, it does not suggest the contents of the dream. Chapter 8: This chapter talks about the journey of Desiree to the grand hotel. I think it not only notes how hard Desiree is on the way to her dream, but also a real state of the island. It was amazing how the author keeps our blinded as peasants in the beginning, not sure where we are. I was confused and scared at first with all the myths. And was blinded with peasants' one side argument about how widely the people on the island detach from each other. But through Desiree's journey, I finds that the trench between the poor and the rich are not as bad as I was imagining. There are different levels of the poor and the rich, Desiree is just unlucky to love the richest one. First I thought the story happens in a fantasy novel, with all the hierarchy and cruel king.
