Scene 1: Romeo has a dream about Juliet finding him dead A message comes, not from friar Lawrence but Juliet's death Romeo decides to go back to see Juliet Romeo buys poison from an apothecary 1. Romeo's dream is another foreshadowing of their death 2. Romeo wishes to have the strongest poison and the most violent one. He wants to die in pain Scene 2: Friar John comes back and tells Friar Lawrence that he was trapped and being suspected carrying the plague. Friar Lawrence thus knows that Romeo didn't get his message but doesn't know that Romeo knows Juliet is "dead" and planing to kill himself Friar Lawrence is going to take Juliet in his cell and keep her there. 1.
