Devised Theatre
Devised theatre is a form of theatre that creates scripts by the cast and the director together. Rather than adapting from a writer's script, devised theatre often develop lines and later form the whole production by cast members alone. Unlike the street theatre, the devised theatre has a specific space for performing like a traditional theatre.
  • Devised theatre may start its project from the place the cast is comfortable with.
  • Director may come into the production in the later phrase to keep the whole thing in shape
  • Usually start with an improvisatory game
